1. About Avatar Animator
Avatar Animator is an educational creative coding platform designed for students in grades 6–12. It allows users to create 3D character animations using visual block-based programming, customize wearable designs, generate AI-assisted backgrounds and music, and connect to physical LED hardware.
Avatar Animator is operated by Inspiration Dance LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility
Avatar Animator is intended for use by students ages 11 and older, typically in grades 6–12. Students under 13 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent, or access the platform through a school-supervised account, before creating an account.
Teachers and school administrators may create accounts to manage curricula, assignments, and student progress. By creating a teacher account, you represent that you are authorized by your educational institution to use the platform with students.
3. Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account with a username and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree not to share your account with others.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are used for inappropriate purposes, or remain inactive for an extended period.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Avatar Animator only for lawful, educational purposes. You will not:
- Submit prompts or content that is violent, sexual, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate for a school environment
- Attempt to bypass content safety filters
- Use the platform to harass, bully, or target other users
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise platform security
- Use automated tools to scrape data or overload the service
- Misrepresent your identity or role (e.g., a student claiming to be a teacher)
We enforce server-side content filtering on all AI-generated content (images, videos, and music). Prompts that violate our content policies are blocked and logged for safety review.
5. Content You Create
You retain ownership of the creative works you produce on Avatar Animator, including animation projects, wearable designs, and custom configurations. However, by using the platform you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process your content as needed to provide the service.
AI-generated content (backgrounds, music, videos) is created using third-party AI services and may be subject to the usage policies of those providers (OpenAI, RunwayML, MusicGPT). You may use AI-generated content for personal and educational purposes.
6. AI-Generated Content
Avatar Animator uses artificial intelligence to generate images, videos, and music based on text prompts you provide. AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate, or what you expected. We apply content safety filters but cannot guarantee all outputs will be suitable for every context.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using it in projects or presentations. We are not liable for any AI-generated content that may be inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate despite our safety measures.
7. Third-Party Services
Avatar Animator integrates with third-party services to provide its features. These include cloud storage providers, AI generation services, and media libraries. Your use of these integrated services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of third-party services.
8. Intellectual Property
The Avatar Animator platform, including its code, design, 3D models, animations, and educational content, is the intellectual property of Inspiration Dance LLC and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without prior written permission.
Stock media accessed through the platform (from Unsplash, Pexels, etc.) is subject to the licensing terms of those providers.
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep Avatar Animator available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss of data or interruption of service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inspiration Dance LLC and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Avatar Animator. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months (or $0 if the service is free).
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the platform or via email. Continued use of Avatar Animator after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
